Morning gratitude..,
No matter what, start each day with a gratitude filled thought. It will set the stage for the entire day. For example, I woke up late today, instead of being annoyed, I thought about how wonderful and refreshed I felt, clearly my body required the extra sleep. I'm well rested and this will be a very productive day. I hope you all have an amazing day!

Life Lessons:: Random Thoughts :: What I Know Now:: Don't Freak Out!
It only took me -- years to figure this out! But, it’s been valuable enough to me I think I should pay it forward… here goes:
In the grand scheme of things, there is really nothing that earth shattering worth stressing out about. It is so liberating when we learn to just step back, breath and let it go. It is what it is and stressing out about it is not going to change anything. Instead, breathe and ask the right questions and determine the next action... What am I, what are you, what are we, going to "do" about it. Freaking out does not deliver solutions, freaking out brings more chaos and disorder to the situation. Chaos and disorder solves nothing.
Have a great day!
Xoxo - Christine

Tags...
I can't even believe I'm sharing this ... but... while I was cleaning
out my closets and dressers; I had to stop and look at these tags twice!
I actually went from wearing Women's plus to wearing misses
and petite, I can't even wrap my mid around that! No matter what the tags say "feeling"
good and being healthy is of course the most awesome gift from all of this! I
guess I was so preoccupied with the whole getting healthy thing I didn't quite
realize what else was happening!

Flipping !&@%___ Tires!
Last weekend I took my work out to a whole new level. I was climbing fences!! Yes, I was climbing fences! I remember when I was a kid, I could climb a fence in record time and trees were no match for me either! When my trainer asked me... When was the last time you climbed a fence? I looked at him like he was crazy! It was a back to basics kind of work out... old school all the way. Climbing fences and flipping and rolling tires up and down the football field! And I was all for it!
Tire training is a total body strength and conditioning workout, if you have ever heard of the "strongman competitions" that's where most people know it from. But it’s actually just old school fitness training, no gym... use what you got... you have a tire... why not give it a few flips and then maybe roll it down a football field!
These exercises are not for the faint of heart and if preformed incorrectly you can really get hurt, so please do not attempt these exercises without proper supervision.
Here are a few pics...
What's the definition of insanity? .....
Rolling that tire! I quickly discovered it was much more difficult than it looked! |
